Saw online that this place came highly recommended and was craving some Asian food so decided to stop by when I was exploring the neighborhood. The restaurant also offers karaoke which was very popular. Lots of young crowds milling about outside and gathered around waiting for karaoke. Dining room was completely full but as I was by myself I was able to grab a seat at the bar. It was mostly big groups of people drinking so felt a little awkward being solo but the bartender took great care of me! I got prawn toast, abalone, broccolini, and wontons. I also got a lychee cocktail. Everything was delicious and overall a good experience but do think itโs probably a place more enjoyed with a group!
Great service by all workers and ambience in there is good. But not as great as it is hyped up to be on Tik Tok. The food wasnโt as good as we expected it to be especially when we chose the most expensive feed me menu. I wish I have chosen the one below that as I seen the table next to us with it and looked like better food. I did go for the expensive feed me as I really wanted the abolone - but it just tasted like nothing no flavour and was so hard to even chew! Salmon, meat and dessert were good but I wouldnโt say it was all worth $115pp. I was also looking forward to their Matcha Martini and that looked terrible when it arrived and then tasted like medicine - so I tried stirring the cream in it with my chop stick and it tasted better.
A pretty good Asian-fusion restaurant. The seasoning is very authentically Chinese โ it really reminded me of home. My favorite dish was the roast duck. It wasnโt greasy at all, and the skin was beautifully crispy. I also heard that on Tuesdays you can roll a dice, and if you get a six, your meal is free. Iโll definitely come back next time to try more dishes!
Had an amazing experience at Yum Sing House! Our host was really friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu and recommending dishes. Good points: The food was delicious โ loved the milk buns, oysters, and the dim sums with their amazing sauce. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. A few small hiccups: Since it was quite crowded, the orders took a while to come out, and there was a mix-up where we got duck instead of the pork cutlet. But when we mentioned it, they were very understanding and didnโt charge us for it, which was appreciated. Overall, a very good experience and would definitely go back โ just a few improvements in timing and accuracy would make it perfect!
The 3 of us dined in on a weeknight and were very lucky to be served by Tammy. She brought an amazing energy and gave us some very good ideas on what to order. A favourite from the three of us: - prawn toast - duck - milk buns Though these were our favourites, I was pleasantly surprised that we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Everyone else who helped us through the night were incredibly friendly and their attitudes only made our night more enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this joint to anybody who's looking to have some good food in a really cozy and cool environment. We'll definitely be back soon, hopefully fitting in a cheeky karaoke session too (apparently they have toilets in each room ๐ฒ)
