Had an amazing experience coming here with a few mates and enjoyed it to the fullest. The food quality was excellent and served promptly. A special shout-out to our servers, Jane and AP, who provided truly top-notch service. Compliments to the chef as well — honestly, the entire team was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Had an amazing dinner at Yamagen Melbourne, this was already my second visit and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, but my standouts were the wagyu aburi, thinly sliced snapper, wagyu beef tenderloin, and the crispy pork belly so flavourful and perfectly cooked. Their cocktails were really good too, and the staff were incredibly nice, very helpful, and gave great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be coming back again!

Service truly shone through Jane’s warm and attentive hospitality. She explained the menu clearly, answered all of our questions with ease, and paced the meal beautifully. Thank you Jane 🤩 Our absolute favourite dishes were the Wagyu aburi, toothfish, and pork belly. The sushi and sashimi were super fresh and delicious as well.
