I recently visited Ginger & Tonic with three friends, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. We decided to order a variety of dishes and share everything, which was the perfect way to enjoy their menu. For items that only came with two pieces, we simply ordered two plates so everyone could have a taste. The food itself was outstanding, every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. It wasnโt just a meal, it was a special experience that left us all impressed. I 100% recommend Ginger & Tonic to anyone who truly loves food. If youโre looking for a place that combines incredible flavours with top notch service, book a table.
Had the 'feed me' menu here along side a couple of cocktails. Building itself is beautiful, which really adds to the atmosphere. The menu defeated us (in a good way). More food than we could eat but staff were more than happy to provide takeaway boxes. Downside to feed me menu was that I wasn't always sure exactly what I was eating but I know if I had asked any of the friendly staff, they would have helped. I saw them be very accommodating to a table next to us with dietary requirements. I really enjoyed all the dishes, the noodles took me right back to Thailand. Though I felt the tartar was a bit of a waste. The favours were so good but kind of masked the fact I was eating tartar, which as a tartar fan, I want that taste too. Cauliflower, like many others have said, was a stand out but I could fault very little. Spring rolls were tasty but probably the least interesting. Loved all the drinks but I wish venues would stop garnishing parts of the glass that are not the rim. Anoying to drink.
Overall a nice place with good food and great vibe. Service was attentive and quick. We had the โfeed meโ menu which for us felt like the wrong choice. I imagine the dishes selected are more for convenience rather than a thoughtful menu, we had the cauliflower followed by the curry was very same-y and a bit tiring. Would probably not order the โfeed meโ menu for two people that arenโt super hungry or big eaters as it was a lot of food.
I had been wanting to dine here for some time now. They say, 'good things come to those who wait', and it was certainly worth the wait! The venue itself in the Old Synagogue is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the quality of the food and flavours of dishes; outstanding. Left with a full belly and a smile. What more can you ask for.
Went there 1st time on Friday night where we tried the feed me menu! It was such an amazing experience that we ended up booking another dinner on Sunday night just to try the other dishes that we have not. That says a lot about the quality and the taste of the food! When it comes to service, it is really second to none! From the moment you are seated at the table until you leave, everyone is smiling and trying to make your experience as best as possible! Maeva was our host on Sunday and she was exceptionally amazing! She was very attentive and made sure our dietary requirements were met! Definitely a MUST do dinner experience in Fremantleโฆhighly recommend.
