We were visiting Caloundra and came across this beautiful restaurant with tasty authentic curries and very lovely staff. Food was great and service was fantastic.

We came here after seeing all the great reviews online and it definitely lived up to them. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was honestly the best Indian our family has ever had. We loved the samosas, chicken tikka, butter chicken and the naans, we even tried a few different types, including the peshwari naan (so good!). Everything was spot on, from the service to the food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back during our holiday.

Just had my first dinner date with my laptop. It was very successful and my book is progressing well. I had the most delicious food and exceptional service from Isaac. Isaac was so interesting to chat to and preempted my every need. I highly recommend you give Thali Dhaba a try 👍

My wife and I dined at Thali Dhaka last night. We first googled restaurants around where we were staying. It was only a 2 minute walk away. So amidst the weather event happening, we wondered around in the rain to check it out first. We decided it was worth trying as the reviews on Google were pretty good at 4.8. Only 2 of us we ordered a main curry dish each to share with rice and Nanm Bread. The Waiter said would be a 10-20 minute wait. I expected that as there were a few customers waiting on takeaways so 20 minutes wasn’t going to be a problem, as the rain had already set in. A bit noisy on the roof above the meals were quickly brought out. And OMG. Looked great on the plates. A mild Buttered Chicken, Mild Beef Vindaloo, 2 bowls of Rice. A Large Bowl of Garlic Nann and a Yogurt. WOW. each curry was sooooo nice. Meats perfectly cooked and tender. the sauce in the Buttered Chicken Amazing. The Rice so light and fluffy perfectly seasoned and cooked Garlic Nann so tasty. There was more and enough food on each plate. The Chef or owner came out to check if everything was okay. More than okay. just bloody lovely. Being tucked away on the main street you could easily miss it. so thanks to Google and others reviews i’m pleased to have dined here. will definitely be back. Even the bad weather last night couldn’t dampen down Thali Dhaba Curry House. in Caloundra. Thank you

Sunshine Coast Gem The food at this low key restaurant is a cut above the usual Australian Indian restaurant offering. Our curries were rich, full bodied and flavoured with authentic herbs and spices. We loved our chicken tikka masala with fragrant cardamom notes and our smoky bhindi gosht (okra and lamb). The portions were generous, the service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. This is the best Indian/Pakistani food we've had for a while.
