We went to Suku on a Sunday and it honestly felt like being back in Bali. They were doing traditional babi guling that day and it tasted just like in Bali (maybe slightly less spicy 😉). The food was beautiful, full of flavour, and very authentic. Add to that the relaxed, welcoming vibe and it made for such a great Sunday meal. If you’re in Freo and craving some Indonesian food, this place is definitely worth a visit! 👍

Freo has a plethora of dining options, but we always seem to end up at this cute eatery, scoffing delicious Indo noms.The food here has a home-cooked subtlety but is so flavour-packed, especially the sambals, from the super hot chilli to the fragrant, raw sambal matah. Nasi Bali & Beef Rendang, which comes with the creamiest, coconutiest rice, are especially good.

Food is excellent. Limited menu choices but it taste awesome. Sambal is spicy which is good. The rendang beef is cook very well, very tender.

Such good value, under $20 for a perfect rendang nasi campur. Their sambal is amazing, recommend buying a bottle for home. Service is friendly and the food is brought out straight away. Right in the heart of Fremantle. Terima kasih!

Indonesian cuisine isn’t usually my top choice, but the food at Suko was very good. Portions were just right and prices reasonable. The menu is a little limited, but if you enjoy Indonesian food, it’s definitely worth a visit.
