The Pain de Ruban is fantastic! The out layer is crispy and lightly sweet, the raspberry(?) and mixed nut filling is flavourful and balanced. The inside is fluffy and light. Perfect!
Cute little bakery shop, with probably one of the best croissant. Great coffee too.
Love the mini sized pastries! I tried the seasonal pistachio xmas tree and the garlic croissant. Both were light and not too heavy. Pastry was a good balance between flakey and soft. Even at the mini size, they are a little pricey though.
My friendly local told me about Publique pastries. Ok, not gonna lie, it was damn good. I got the pistachio cronut. The cream was light, with good pistachio flacour. But the cronut itself, was light, crispy, delicate and well balanced. This was supposed to be a treat for later but gobbled it up for breakfast. This is a small store, they sell mini size pastries compared to the main store a block away. Nicely paired with Market Lane coffee next door
Cute little pastry shop. Everything looks so good! The pistachio cronut was the highlight for sure. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Melbourne.
