I had the Reuben sandwich and it was absolutely excellent, perfectly balanced with tangy sauerkraut and a great hit of classic pickled flavour. Real Reuben experience, this is the place to get it!

I don’t know if people giving 5 stars had their eyes open or went there in the dry. It’s a hot little box of a cafe with an ineffective air conditioner with no tables inside (a narrow bench against a window doesn’t count especially when whoever sits in the chair near the tiny soft drink fridge has to move so you can open the fridge door), and not spotlessly clean, by any means. The server was accomodating and friendly and my toasty was ok but I wouldn’t rave about it. I wouldn’t recommend it or revisit but to each their own, I suppose.

had 2 vastly different experiences on 2 separate occasions in the span of a week - the first was great, service was pleasant, bloke behind the counter was so friendly & made the experience superb! the second not so much, service was curt, the girl serving me didn’t make me feel welcome at all & not to mention the same mushroom toastie i got seemed smaller this time — disappointing. for $17 it just did not feel worth it.

We had a lovely breakfast here. Only tip would be my friend would have liked the option of a ceramic cup as we were eating in. I think pretty paper cups fit this cafes business model and aesthetic though! If you like salami this toasty was especially good.
