Amazing dinner at Piatto last night! Food was absolutely on point. Genuine hospitality at its best- Will keep coming back! Our go-to Italian on the GC, never disappoints!

Me and my friends went here last night, and we honestly struggled to pick a favourite dish! Everything was so good, from the pate, to the zucchini flowers to the pork and the nectarine tart. Our waitress was also lovely! Probably one of the best restaurant I have been too in a long time.

We had the most beautiful meal at Piatto last Saturday night. Starters of bread, straciatella and the octopus. All so beautiful. We then shared the pork belly which was out of this world amazing and the chicken and a pasta dish. All wonderful. The desserts are also amazing and made by Thea herself. Gorgeous people, great friendly service and delicious food. Can’t recommend highly enough. This place is a local gem

Only set course dining here and overpriced for what’s on offer. Dinner for two with a wine at almost a quarter of a thousand dollars was just not worth it when you are overlooking Glenelg Public house. Very friendly staff, but overall not a good experience. Just offer a la carte would be much more suited to a venue like this.

Piatto is a little hole in the wall restaurant in a shopping village set back of the road.at Mermaid It seats 16 people in a darkish room with mood lighting. The bar is in front of the open kitchen. There is a 4 course menu of which you choose 3 courses. There are 3 options in each course. As there were 3 of us we sampled each other’s food. All was delicious with fresh, interesting flavours. There’s a good selection of Australian and Italian wines, The service was prompt and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend Piatto. It has a great vibe and offers a beautiful dining experience.
