The best seafood shop in Adelaide! Absolutely loved the fresh seafood items plus the customer service is exemplary. Good job everyone. Keep it up! ๐
Brilliant! Don't get there often as it's out of the way for us, but we had other business in the area. The selection is one of the best, and very well presented. Not cheap, but the best never is, but certainly competitive with other Adelaide shops. The scallops were shiny, firm and compelling. The the marinara is outstanding considering it's only 50% more than Woolies, but much better quality, with big prawns and chunky salmon. Big, fresh, yummy crabs, cooked the way we like them. And gar fillets. Yum. Good size, and obviously fresh. And the young man who served us was pleasant and helpful.
I arrived at this place at 4.30pm on a Friday. Before making the trip, I made sure I checked the opening times on Goggle and it said it closes at 5.30pm. When I got there all the seafood had been cleared and packed away in containers. The staff seemed to be counting the minutes to get out of there, hence not very helpful to customers. Another customer came in just after me and she was also very confused. When they picked my order up with the same gloves used to clean the benches I decided to this place wasnโt for me. I canceled the order and left. Not the first time I had a bad experience with this place customer service.
I love salmon, oysters, and prawns, okay? I love all seafood. I must laugh at the comments. I never had bad service. Speak up when it's your turn; don't blame the staff when it's busy; let them know you're ready to order. Some people are just window-shopping or hanging around for a special. They have no intention of paying the full price; they buy anything that has just been discounted and buy big to resell, but unfortunately, it is legal. It's rare, but they make easy money if something gets tipped into the wrong bin. I have never had unsatisfactory seafood or been disappointed at Parissos. If you are, I would return it or at least call them. Parissos, like any proud business, can't afford lousy posts. Instead, if you come back, you'll go home delighted time and time again. And the gentleman who wants his prawns ready to eat, me too, buddy, but a fishmonger can't sell them at that temperature. I wanted someone cute to peel them and hold my stubby, so I swallow oysters until I get home; try that.
The freshest and tastiest seafood in Adelaide. I've been ordering for Xmas and Boxing Day for the past few years and guests have never been disappointed. Bravo team Parissos ๐ ๐
