We visited friends in Canberra and were delighted to be taken to Muku for their first reopening night. The ramen I had was sooooo delicious, finishing with a citrus crème caramel. The ambience is cool and funky; the service so attentive and pleasurable and the whole experience was one I would like to go back to time and time again. 🙏🏼
The food was super fresh and very tasty. The staff were attentive, friendly and made a ramen bar much more than that. I have dined in Michelin Starred restaurants that could learn from this restaurant. I look forward to going back as this was my first time eating here.
This place is heaven for a gluten free vegan. It's rare you find a place that has both a good entree, main and dessert options for these dietary requirements! Our waiter was friendly and welcoming too and wait times were good. Our new favourite place for a date night dinner :)
Just delicious. Wonderful, distinctive ramen flavor options. The noodles are so good - tender with the right amount of resistance to chew. Perfect mouthful with soup. Mochi cheese potato is tasty fun. Service offered useful little suggestions as I got situated and after I made some choices - really thoughtful.
Had another fantastic dinner at Muku Ramen Bar! I’ve been here before, and the service is always excellent—welcoming staff and great hospitality. The food was great as always. We started with the Popcorn Zangi and Grandma’s Mochi Cheese Potato—both packed with flavour and perfect for sharing. For mains, I had the Sapporo Miso Tantan Ramen with added mushrooms, which was rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying. My friend had the Hakodate Zen Ramen, which had a beautiful balance of citrusy yuzu and umami broth. To top it off, we enjoyed a couple of Sapporo Premium Lagers on tap—crisp, refreshing, and the perfect pairing for the meal. I highly recommend making an online reservation beforehand, as they can get quite busy—obviously a very popular spot! Muku never disappoints. Highly recommend for ramen lovers in Canberra!
