Exceptional experience I had the most amazing experience at Modo Mio last Friday. The food was Devine and super flavoursome. I order the Ravioli and shared the Lasagna, whist my partner ordered the carbonara. The sizing was very generous and well presented. The starters were also quick and tasty zucchini flowers and the garlic prawns. The staff were exceptional and very friendly with a fantastic greeting from our host Vanessa. This place is very accomodating and easily accessible for people with disabilities. Would recommend to all family and friends and will definitely be returning (been informed bookings are required)

This is the best hidden secret on the Gold Coast. The cuisine is absolutely second to none and the diversity of your clients and team reflect such a warm caring respect of community embraced with a fine extensive dining and wine menu. Steak was thick and juicy, beautifully plated. Marinara pasta had rich flavours. Great service. Was seated in the outdoor section and there was heavy rain/storm, hence dropped the atmosphere a little.

Every time I've been here ( 4-5) I've loved the food, service, drinks. You would not expect this quality in a shopping centre. Just love it ! Fantastic Italian food and hospitality. Do book ahead, make your life easier

We had a terrible experience at Modo Mio. We ordered the lamb risotto, garlic bread, and salt and pepper calamari. After a couple of bites, my partner found a long hair in the risotto. A waitress apologized and offered to remake it, but we declined. After a few more bites, my partner lost his appetite. The waitress later returned claiming it wasn’t a hair but “part of the lamb,” which was completely absurd and insulting. At that point, neither of us wanted to keep eating. I only managed a few pieces of calamari and a bit of salad. They removed the risotto from the bill, but still charged full price for the calamari I barely ate. For a supposedly high-end Italian restaurant, this was a disappointing and off-putting experience. We won’t be back.
