We came for the skewer night and everything was delicious! The portions seemed small at first but we still found ourselves to be very full after. The künefe was perfectly balanced and their homemade ice cream was perfect. Yet, I was shocked to see we were charged 13(!) dollars for water which admittedly left a bitter taste in my mouth… Other than that, great modern take to a Turkish cuisine.

I’ve been here several times already and really love this place. The food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are great as well. It’s a perfect spot to come with a few friends, share some small plates, have a few drinks, and enjoy a relaxed chat together. Always a great time — will definitely keep coming back.

This restaurant is tucked away in Redfern. We had amazing service from the team. The vibe and atmosphere is like you’re in somebody’s home. I really enjoyed the starters. We got the hummus, halloumi, bread and the octopus. I highly recommend all dishes. The potatoes were nice and crispy and I loved the feta with it. The skewers were alright I was kind of expecting a little bit more but they were still nice. We had the caramelised pear for dessert and it was quite nice.

Amazing food, service and location. Celebrated friends birthday at mezepotamia and will definitely return. Turkish delight cocktail was great. Favorite dish was halloumi although we loved all the dishes we tried.

I was amazed by the quality of the food and service at Mezepotamia. The special skewer night on Mondays is not to be missed and the service is impeccable, Paulo who was my host on the night was delightful, super friendly and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, refined and generous. I had a little extra with the dessert and I had the baklava Ice cream sandwich that I highly reccomend. A place to hang out with friends or if you only want nice food in a glorious setting and atmosphere. Five stars all the way 👌
