The entire experience was fantastic, from the friendly and welcoming staff to the great atmosphere and top notch customer service. The food was super fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic and high quality Japanese cuisine!

M daughter and I knew we wanted Japanese and I remembered walking past this little place earlier in the day. We thought we would give it a try. We got here quite early and knew immediately it was going to be good as we saw dishes getting served to diners while we waited to be seated. We actually chose a few of the things we saw coming out. We were not let down. The fresh flavours, ingredients and colours were very impressive. Loved every bite! Definitely recommend. By the time we left the place was absolutely buzzing. So glad we found this gem. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, with that authentic Japanese izakaya feel — perfect for a chill night out, date night, or catch up with friends. But what really surprised me… the MATCHA! They have flavours you’ll never find anywhere else — peanut butter, coconut, earl grey, and strawberry matcha. Every single one is so unique and actually tastes amazing. The peanut butter is creamy and rich, the coconut is tropical and smooth, the earl grey gives elegant tea notes, and the strawberry is light and refreshing. On top of that — food is delicious, plating is beautiful, and service is warm and friendly. It’s definitely a must-visit if you love Japanese food — and absolutely a must-try if you’re a matcha person. I will definitely come back again!

Absolutely did not expect this Japanese izakaya to have one of the best matcha drinks in Melbourne 😍 Their matcha is thick, umami, and perfectly balanced — I tried the earl grey and peanut butter ones, both insanely good!! 🍵💚 Food-wise, everything was on point. The salmon katsu platter lunch was crispy, juicy, and full of flavour 🍣🔥 The mentaiko creamy udon was rich and comforting, and the sushi roll with wasabi crumble added the perfect kick. Also loved their salmon sashimi platter — super fresh and buttery! Such a cozy, authentic izakaya vibe. Definitely coming back — for both the food and the matcha! 💯
