This restaurant and brewery pub is wonderful! I ordered the “Feed Me” meal, which is an 8-course set-menu of local oysters, prawns, squid, wallaby, venison, and veggies, all prepared in a Japanese influenced style. Every course was amazing, including dessert of mango-wasabi sherbet! The feed me meal was $65, which I thought was an excellent price and was also very filling. Highly recommended! Other things my table ordered and loved included the octopus and tempura zucchini. They have a good selection of house-brewed beers as well.

Super yummy squid and oysters. Good selection beer - stand out for me was the session IPA. Visited many times during our stay.

Great design, food and of course beer! Had the venison curry puffs, Asian style cucumber salad, wallaby spicy skewers and tasting paddle of beers, all delicious. So good to see restaurants doing "game" meat justice, 10/10 would recommend

Great (half price) oysters! Amazing service! The variety of beers and cocktails were par to none! Jack made it an excellent experience and gave some great local knowledge. I would recommend anyone to come for beers, cocktails and food!

We looked at a few venues, hoping to find somewhere for a late lunch, early dinner after having returned from MONA. As Manky Sally's was mentioned, we ended up there and chose a table in the restaurant area at the back. We spent between 4 to 5 hours there and enjoyed a number of different dishes. These included the Tapioca Crack Crackers, Triple Cooked Chips, Sesame Prawn Toast, Wallaby Rump Steak and a cooked venison dish. Other than the chips (not nice at all), everything was lovely. The venison dish had a modest warmth, whilst the wallaby was crispy and tender. My friend's comment to the prawn toast was along the lines of 'wow, this isn't from a freezer' - high praise indeed. What we really enjoyed was not being rushed, the wait staff being friendly and observant, and the atmosphere of the room lending itself to us losing track of time and not even being aware of the sun setting! I can also recommend the Spicy Margarita - yum!
