Disappointed by my experience here especially with the high ratings. Came here on a weeknight and ordered the Thai style crab curry, pineapple fried rice, pad thai and grilled squid. Flavours were good for the pad thai and pineapple fried rice. The crab itself didn’t taste very fresh although the sauce was delicious, the squid tasted underdone and had a bitterness to it. Most lacking was the service, there were just a few tables seated yet it was hard to get the attention of waitstaff. Nothing was provided to eat the crab with and it was difficult to break the shell using just hands. Hesitant to return from my first experience here.
The Thai seafood buffet was fantastic. You can enjoy a wide variety of seafood, but I highly recommend the shrimp, squid, and fish. This place is very popular, so probably you'll need to wait for a table.
Not as good as the Google rating suggests. The food wasn’t served hot enough. The Tom Yum soup was flavorful and enjoyable, but the fried rice was very disappointing.
After reading the many positive reviews I had high hopes for this restaurant but after eating I was seriously disappointed. The Tom Yum MaMa was incredibly average and consisted of frozen prawns paired with cheap $2 noodles and some mystery meat. If you served this food in Thailand you wouldn’t be in business. The young lady serving was the only positive note, she greeted us with a smile and had a friendly attitude.
The food here was amazing! We ordered the Tom Yum hotpot, Thai-style crab curry, Pad Thai with prawns, stir-fried vegetables, and finished with fried banana & ice cream. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and nicely presented. The Tom Yum soup was rich and tangy, and the crab curry was a real highlight. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Thai milk tea was also really good. Great spot for authentic Thai food in Melbourne will definitely come back!
