Recently tried this bakehouse and itโs such a lovely spot for afternoon tea! ๐ต The iced kaya matcha was a little on the sweet side, but still special to try. The Genmaicha dirty was unique too. ๐ฅ The shio pan kaya with butter was so ๐in the best way, and the cinnamon OG scroll is definitely my favourite! The genmaicha basque cheesecake was also really special and worth a try ๐ A great place if you love creative drinks and pastries!
โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ The moment I walked past, the smell of freshly baked bread stopped me in my tracks โ it felt like the shop was calling my name. The buns were beautifully soft and rich with flavor, the kind that makes you smile without noticing. Such a charming little bakery, warm, comforting, and full of heart. A delightful hidden gem worth falling for.
The cafรฉ is quite small but very adorable with all the decorations. Japan themed. Have very few seatings inside and outside. There are a variety of pastries and cakes to choose from. You have to try their Matcha drinks, very creative and beautiful. The staffs were very friendly. A bit hard to find since itโs in the corner inside Queens Plaza.
Cute cafe with both sweet and savoury pastry options. I enjoyed their ham, salad and tomato sandwich that was light and fresh. Would love to try their matcha next time I visit!
The cafรฉ is very small with only a few tables inside and a two seat counter. Got takeaway the first time and for the second visit I was lucky to get a seat. Tried a number of sweets and baked goods and overall they were very good. - Financiers were soft with a slightly crispy exterior. Salted chocolate has two high quality tasting chocolate strips and the sweet and savoury okonomiyaki flavour surprisingly works well - Mont blanc bavarois was mildly sweet; custard cream was light and milky, topped with a natural tasting chestnut paste - Matcha yuzu tart was delicate and easy to cut. The yuzu curd has a refreshing citrus tang balanced with a subtle earthy matcha cream - Matcha scroll was served warm, very soft and gooey with a familiar sweet cinnamon flavour. The matcha cream was not that sweet which was good - Houjicha chiffon cake has just the right amount of sweetness. The sponge was light and not dry, layered with a good amount of strawberries and the houjicha cream has a nice strong roast tea flavour - Shio pan was served toasted; it was very crispy and buttery outside reminiscent of a croissant. Inside was soft and fluffy Also tried two of their specialty drinks. 'The Dirty Earl' seems to have some sweet syrup on top and gradually the drink taste more like straight up strong Earl Grey tea mixed with latte. The 'Genmaicha Dirty' is a genmaicha infused milk blend topped with an espresso shot and a dollop of cream. The tea flavour was very mild, with a predominant coffee taste. They were interesting but trying them once was enough, would probably stick to the standard matcha/coffee drinks.
