I visited La Mortazza for coffee and breakfast and had a very nice experience overall. The place is lovely โ€” clean, well designed, and nicely decorated, with a welcoming atmosphere. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a small misunderstanding with the coffee, but it was fixed immediately and without any issue. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I did ask for my sandwich to be toasted, and while it was nice, it was still a little cool on the inside. I didnโ€™t mention it at the time, so it may simply be how itโ€™s meant to be served โ€” just a personal preference. Overall, a pleasant place with good food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

A little hidden gem in North Perth. I have been here several times for brunch and the staff are always friendly, smiling, warm and welcoming. The service is excellent and I really enjoy their range of focaccias. I especially like the Salsiccia, Cotoletta and the Siciliano focaccias. It is always a delight to eat here and the atmosphere is very relaxed and chilled.

Wonderful little cafe which is so easy to miss on Fitzgerald st. Great atmosphere with ample indoor and outdoor seating providing a good place to bring your fury friend. There is a large selection of food in the displays which is all fresh and oh so tempting, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee the perfect match. The staff were friendly and attentive with the service being extremely quick. Street parking is a bit tricky down Veen st, but the walk back to the cafe is worth it. Nice location for a Sunday morning breakfast.

Great cafe food and service. In a beautiful location. Parking may get a bit busy. My favourite drink is their traditional Italian Creme cafe . It's amazing. It's like a frozen coffee slurpy. So yummy. I recommend โค๏ธโค๏ธ Also, we loved the arancini ๐Ÿ˜ was my favourite.

Excellent Italian style food, often with specials. A range of cooked meals, cold and hot panini. Good coffee, with decaf and lactose-free options. Great staff, flexible with orders. A regular lunch venue. Toilet facilities available.
