Good food. Ambience could be better. The napkins smelt of washing powder 🙈 Must have - chicken 65 - unlike the usual deep fried, this one is oven cooked then pan fried with curry leaves. Chicken tikka masala was good as well. And palak paneer was good too. Their spicy is spicy (with green chillies), not like Andhra spicy but still quite spicy. Give golgappa - balls of happiness a miss imho. They’re the pre-made ones you air fry at home and it’s dahi poori not the normal paani water golgappa. Order tiki instead. Although made from frozen, they crisp the tiki so it tastes good. Kulfi is nice too. Very flavourful.

Absolutely loved our experience at Indian Culture Restaurant in Hobart! The food and service were outstanding from start to finish. The dal makhani deserves a special mention — easily the best and most authentic we’ve had. Every dish was perfectly balanced in spice and flavour. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again (because once is clearly not enough). If you’re looking for genuinely authentic Indian flavours served with warmth and care, this place is a must-visit. A fabulous Indian Restaurant! My Scottish husband said it was the best Rogan Josh he had ever had in Australia. The service was faultless and very attentive. My butter chicken equally flavoursome.

We decided to go to Indian Culture to try Indian food, and we had a great experience. To be able to sample a bit of everything, we ordered the tasting menu, which consisted of four dishes. Among the starters, the highlight was the “happy balls”—and indeed, we were happy eating them. Among the main courses, the standout was the prawn curry, which had an intense and delicious flavor. To top it all off, we finished with a homemade chocolate brownie that was absolutely delicious. It’s worth noting that what stood out from the experience wasn’t just the great food and the restaurant’s ambiance, but also the incredible service provided by Pooja. Her attention was outstanding, and with a smile on her face, she accompanied us throughout our entire culinary experience. The service was impeccable and exceptional. Without a doubt, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy great food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back 100%!
