We recently dined at Harry's in their closing week before Christmas to celebrate our wedding anniversary and again in their opening week of the new year to celebrate my husband's birthday and I have to say that both on both occasions we could not fault a single element. The food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable and the outlook serene and pleasant. It is somewhere that we can be confident of an overall enjoyable experience and gladly recommend it to friends and family.

Harry’s seems to have been around for a while and is set in a beautiful location on a spacious, airy verandah overlooking green spaces. We had the degustation at $135 per person. First round was the char grilled Mooloolaba prawns which are always tasty. Crispy skin barramundi was delicious although the skin wasn’t all that crispy. My favourite of the savoury courses was the quail which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The steak was the least favourite course amongst our group and we found the beef to be quite chewy. The deconstructed mousse was rich and ideal for finishing the meal. Ingredients were all quality although the males were all still hungry at the end. I feel that these types of degustation menus need some house made bread and cultured butter to mop up all the emulsions and jus’ and gravy’s and whatever other juices are on the plate and left behind. It would also fill the men up. Our waitress from the north of England was lovely and we had a very enjoyable meal.

I just wanted to leave a review about how wonderful our wedding reception at Harry’s on Buderim was. Peter and the excellent staff made the night flow effortlessly from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent (as always) and they had set the tables to the simple elegant look I wanted ( thanks to Peter who was only too happy to have meeting beforehand). It was a night I will never forget thank you for making it so special Tyler

Delightful restaurant in a lovely setting at the foothills of Buderim forest. This is a high end establishment, with high end prices. We dined in the 'Fire Room', in one section of the building which had a wonderful open fire. This room was fully booked with 14 people dining here on this occasion, and unfortunately we found it a bit noisy in such a small room. There are plenty of other options where to dine, such as out on the decking overlooking a grassed area with trees surrounding, but the open fire was quite cozy. We all enjoyed our meal - adequate selection to cater for most peoples taste. Plenty of waitresses, and excellent service. Good selection of fine wines, with huge mark-up prices, this seems to be the practice at 'fine dining' restaurants. Be aware that there is Weekend Surcharge of 10% as well at 1.6% Card Surcharge. I've never heard of a 'weekend surcharge' before. Harry's on Buderim is a unique restaurant, well worth a visit for that special occasion.
