Had high expectations coming from Melbourne. This place blew them away! The broth for the black garlic ramen was insanely tasty! Definitely in my top 3 ramen places I've been to, such cute vibes too! Will definitely go again if I'm in the area.

There is no place like Harahetta!!! ❤️ Once you have their ramen, you simply cannot go anywhere else! Their broth is to die for, both the tonkatsu and miso base, they are rich and bursting with flavour and you can tell there is so much love put into the food which is why everyone I bring here becomes equally obsessed. But the best part is the staff, I’ve been coming for Hiro’s ramen ever since he owned Goukai, everyone who works with him are the kindest, loveliest people you will ever meet who always make you feel special and like you’re in their home, so make sure to pop your head in after your meal and say a quick hello to the team in the bar and kitchen, they always appreciate a familiar face! Unfortunately the only down side to Harahetta is that once you have their ramen, you ONLY want their ramen! Gonna miss these guys when I move ! 💔

The most Umami flavours we’ve ever tasted in a Ramen dish. 10/10. Fast and friendly service. Would recommend.

This was an excellent bowl of ramen! The noodles were chewy and the thick, rich soup clung to each strand perfectly. The soup was so flavoursome and came out piping hot. I loved the texture the black fungus gave and the complimentary takana provided some contrast between bites. The pork was charred and very tender. The black garlic ramen was very garlic forward which we loved. Will definitely be returning!

Best tasting ramen I have ever had! Pork had a good smokiness to it and melts in your mouth. Portion sizes were great and food came out quick. My husband got the karaage rice bowl and he said it was excellent and full of flavour. Staff were so friendly and attentive.
