Not only these guys serve the best coffee, they also help people get back on their feet with training in the hospitality industry.

The manager and staff are super friendly and professional. Coffee was very nice and the short menu was perfect for breakfast and snacks. The ham cheese croissant seemed to be 'toasted' in an oven which was wonderful, so I still had a delicious fluffy croissant when it arrived at the table. A nice change from the microwave heated or sandwich press toasted versions I usually end up with. I also love the concept of the Grounding Cafe, in that they are an NFP supporting the community in so many different ways! Thanks for the happy breakfast time.

Tried the coffee here this morning & thought it was a pretty good brew. Pleasant flavour & good strength with a double shot. Service was welcoming & there was plenty of reading material inside. I understand this is a not for profit business, so well done

Great little place with friendly staff. Decor looks great and amazing to see that this business donates 100% of their profits to a charity. Pastry was nice and crispy, hot and tasty. Coffee was well presented and tasted fairly good. Could have tasted 100% if the grinder had been adjusted slightly. But I will definitely be back next time we visit Surfers. (Note for staff: espresso shot had bitter tones of either requiring a minor course adjustment or correction on dosage amount being ground 😉 but great job, guys, keep it up 👍)

Very good crossiant in this cafe. They have multiple variety of savoury version crossiant, egg and cheese, ham and cheese, perfect for something light to eat. The crossiant is very light and crunchy, just perfect. They also serve with tomato sauce. Coffee is very good. Matcha latte also really good, they uses real Japanese matcha powder. This cafe provide lots of little games and books, perfect to enjoy while having light food. This cafe have a poet tree. Lots of interesting words. Seating available indoor and outdoor. Staff are friendly. This cafe located on main street, very close to tram stop. No card surcharge, which makes this cafe a real gem
