This is a really nice restaurant located near Kingston Foreshore. We have dined in and takeaway food multiple times and the taste of the food has been great every time. The curries and entrees are great. The serving size is substantial and leaves you feeling satisfied. Taste wise, this is the best Indian Restaurant in the inner south Canberra area. The only drawback is that it has a smaller menu compared to other restaurants and you cannot find some of the food items.

This restaurant was recommended by a local when we stopped for coffee in Fyswick. Glad we listened. The food and service was just wonderful. We tried the palak paroda, spring rolls, malai kofta, dal makhni, palak paneer with garlic naan, butter naan and rotis. The breads were light and crispy just like we love them. The curries and starters flavourful and delicious. The service was fantastic. It was a great meal.

Amazing and tasty Indian restaurant. Everything is cooked fresh to order and every meal comes with a free homemade ice dessert. The butter chicken is delicious and the chicken korma is creamy and smooth. They cater to different spice levels and have a menu that even the fussiest of kids can’t refuse (chicken nuggets and chips) If you’re in the Kingston area give 7 by the Lake a miss and come here instead! Lovely staff and better food.

This is our regular Indian restaurant in Canberra. They never disappointed us 😊we loved their quantity of food and taste; very welcoming place which makes to visit often. The chef is very friendly and even surprised us with some delicious complimentary dessert. Overall it’s our favourite restaurant in Canberra 💕💐

I walked past this place a couple of times but only braved to try the food when someone at work assured me that they served great Indian food. The staff were very friendly and were attentive in making sure we didn’t need any more water and that we were happy with our food. The name is a bit weird for an Indian restaurant, but I’m looking forward to going back and trying some more options.
