I had the lunch combo where you can pick 2 or 3 dishes with rice/noodles. But they didn't have my noodles that day. So just rice option. I picked 2 meat dishes. Food came quickly but it was not even warm. Tasted nice but would be better if it was hot.
We ordered takeaway — seafood fried rice and chicken noodles, they tasted fabulous and the portion is very very generous, they even included cutlery for us! The staff is very friendly and patient, and we could get our meal very swiftly. It is definitely the best Thai cuisine we have ever tried and we will definitely visit again!!!
If you enjoy Thai food then keep this Adelaide Terrace restaurant in mind. With a menu offering something for everyone, each dish is fresh, flavourful and fabulous. The Thai Northern Sausage was a surprising stand out. Just the right amount of kick and loved the rich depth of flavour in their green curry. Great spot!
3.5 stars Venue: Street parking. Newly open. Causal setting. Looks large area, but rather packed. Simple decoration. TV was dislpaying an Asian city? Open kitchen. Only heard the sound of Stir-friying. Good for larger groups. --- 7/10 Service: To be seated. Given Menu booklets, and told to order & pay by Scaning QR code. Only one Thai waiter was friendly and served with smiles. We asked if we could pay by cash, so he took our orders at the tables. He also briefly introduced the dishes. Reasonable waiting time for food. Tap water was served upon request. Resonable waiting time for food. Needed to ask for small bowls for sharing soup. I wasn't happy when the second waiter dropped the dessert spoons onto the dirty table. --- 7.2/10 F&B: Not very authentic Thai cuisine. Probably it suits Australian's taste buds. Causal presentation. Smaller food portion than other Thai restaurants in Perth. Prices were slightly on the high side. - We wanted to order Hainanese Chicken Rice ($20.9), but we were told that roasted chicken only (NO Steamed chicken). Unfortunately, the description on the menu didn't show that. - Chicken Tom Kha, $21.9: good portion of chicken breast slices. Different from the usual Tom Kha Gai in color and taste. More chili jam and no galangal here? All the inedible herbs had been removed before served. --- 7/10 - Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, $22.9: Poor presentation. There were 4 pineapple cubes only, crunchy cashew, some chicken slices, kale lan, and egg. --- 7/10 - Pad Thai Noodles with Seafood, $23.9. There were 4 prawns, 4 squid. Bean sprouts, 2 cucumbers slices, 1 lemon wedge, and crushed peanuts. --- 7.3/10 - Thai Tea Affogato. $7.9: The presentation wasn't so attractive. The 2 small scoops of coconut ice-cream was not so strong in flavor, and the flavor of hot Thai Tea was overpowered. --- 7/10
An interesting but ultimately pleasant experience. This place is a new restaurant. Open about 48 days so far. We had a slight bump to begin with, being told an item we had ordered was not available. We decided to leave at this point. That's when the owner stepped in and assured us there was just a miscommunication. And we stayed. We are so happy we did. My wife had satay chicken skewers and they were great. I started with prawns spring rolls, also great. And I had seafood stir-fry and jasmine rice as my main..Outstanding flavour, presentation and serving size. The restaurant is neat and clean. Plenty of tables and the menu has good variety. The kitchen is open to the dining area and it was neatly presented and ordered. Always an encouraging sign in my opinion. Definitely worth putting on your list of Thai food places to visit.
