We hadn’t been to Glass for a while, but our previous visits had always been excellent: great food, coffee, and service. This time, though, it was a bit of an odd one. My mum and I popped in for a late breakfast. Neither of us was very hungry, so we decided to share The Hunter and added a rösti, a poached egg, and mushrooms. When ordering, we were almost charged for two full meals; an easy mistake that we caught in time, so no harm done. When the food arrived, it was actually The Gatherer (the vegetarian version). We pointed it out, and the staff were lovely; they apologised immediately, explained the order had been taken down incorrectly, and quickly remade it for us. The correct dish then came out, but the extra rösti was missing. We mentioned it, and again the team sorted it promptly and apologetically. It wasn’t until later in the day, when we were reflecting on the meal, that we realised the brisket was missing entirely from The Hunter. By that point we’d already commented that the portion had felt a bit small and pricey for what we’d received. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience; just a strangely chaotic one with one too many little mistakes. The staff were polite and efficient whenever we raised an issue, but the cumulative errors meant the meal didn’t quite live up to Glass’s usual high standard or price point. Still very fond of the place; hopefully just an off day!

Seriously the best Sunshine Coast breakfast spot and awesome coffee. Menu is excellent with options for everyone!! The products and ethos here are sensational and every dish is delicious!!

My favourite cafe on the coast. When they brought out their own beans that are mycotoxin free, I jumped on it and it will definitely be our beans of choice for home from now on.

amazing coffee!!! such a lovely little spot. EDIT: I’ve been twice for the eggs benny this past week! Food is great here and I feel like it is worth the price as they only use good ingredients! Housemade hollandaise is amazing and somehow the second eggs benny I got (yes I’ve had two this week) was even better than the first! I have grown up hating avo and am proud to say that this cafe has served me such a lovely meal that I consumed an ENTIRE half avo! Twice!! If you love avo you better come here. My mum got the granola and other than her comment that it could be sweeter it was absolutely beautiful. I love the food here. You don’t feel overly full or sick after eating it. As for drinks- I’ve tried both hot/cold coffee and matcha and both are great. If you’re looking for a cute brekki/brunch spot with decent food and coffee this is the place. Thankyou to the manager(?) for telling me about this place when you came into my work and I asked about your Pallion point hat. You guys are always so friendly at Glass🫶🏼🌞🌺

Just finished the most amazing brunch at this beautiful spot - I’ve not been before now but 100% will be coming back! Staff are very friendly (shout out to Sam who provided exemplary service from the moment we walked in). The food was on another level, as someone with some dietary needs ordering food can be difficult but here it was a breeze. Special thanks to the chef’s Zane & Tom for the “Hunters” everything was cooked to absolute perfection, fresh, filling and overwhelmingly delicious, keep up the good work, can’t wait to come back & try the rest of the menu soon!
