Great Italian food. Not cheap. Had lunch on a Tuesday, it was very quiet. Porchetta was great and the tiramisu. Comfortable chairs. Great service.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Geppetto Trattoria! The food was absolutely delicious — the mushroom arancini and focaccia were a perfect start, the pasta special was fantastic, and the eye fillet was cooked to perfection. Everything was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Also, the cocktails we had were delicious. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome, and you can ask them to recommend a wine to perfectly match your meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone after authentic, high-quality Italian food in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Stumbled upon Geppetto Trattoria, and I’m so glad I did. The porchetta e peperonata was absolutely outstanding — perfectly cooked pork with that crispy crackling, and the sweet, smoky peperonata balanced it beautifully. Classic, honest Italian cooking done right. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that old-school trattoria charm, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. You can tell this place is run with heart. Great spot for a relaxed, satisfying meal before or after the footy or a concert at the ‘G. Highly recommend if you’re after real Italian food in Melbourne. Will definitely be back!

It’s located on a quieter side of the street. However when you walk inside, it’s nice and cosy. I was served upon a little bite for starter and it was delicious. Tried seafood spaghetti and truffle mushroom risotto. I was really impressed by the portion and quality of the food. Beautifully seasoned and flavours are nicely balanced and complement well with each other. Of course al dente. Took away the tiramisu to try at home. It was a really nice classic tiramisu. Service was great! The waitress was really friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back for more!
