Great place for a yummy meal. Staff always so welcoming and it is one of the few places I can go to and not get drowned out by all of the noise. Hearing aid Friendly. The best value meals in Ballarat
Went to dinner with some of my family. I dont get to see them very much. We absolutely enjoyed the food , the service was awesome and the atmosphere just added to the joy of being with family. I highly recommend going there
On entering building we completed the sign in process than went to the service desk. Stated our name lady raced us to the table on the terrace it was pre booked table set although the table should have been wiped first as it had sticky stuff around the side. The directed as to the and said order from the qr or come to counter and walked off. We tried to order using QR code it didnโt work so we went to the counter 3 people standing there all looking around I said to the lady the qr codes not working she replied I know nothing about it ok so we proceeded to order our meals surprised by 10% extra on Sunday should be told when you book.. extra 10% a no table service at all thatโs a bit rich !! Six people 4 interstate visitors ordered 16 dishes between us all entrรฉes and mains. Spring rolls lovely, dim sims delicious, Prawn toast was a little oily, chicken & corn soup lovely. Curry was spicy however not a curry, satay prawn watery, pork and plum sauce was very sweet pork cooked well, honey chicken was crispy and well cooked however honey was thicken with cornflour and not cooked out, seafood platter was interesting all over cooked not served with any dressing, mayo, tartare sauce nothing, fried rice was cooked well. Meals and drinks over $350 so not a cheap night out! Definitely wouldnโt recommend it No photos taken personally donโt think we will be returning. We really want to start supporting our local RSL sadly itโs not great.
Picked up ordered food, fried rice was good, Sweet & Sour chicken was hard and stringy, Fish & Chips was not edible, no chips with the fish in box, one piece of fish and needed a chainsaw to cut through it, could hear my husband trying to cut it from the kitchen, totally not edible, wonโt be back, money wasted!
Pricy and poor quality. Ordered Dumplings and Noodle Soup and Tom Yam Seafood Soup, both are ok to eat. Szechuan chicken is EXTREMELY Sweet and not a tiny bit spicy at all. Despite that it has two chili signs next to it. Do not order if you want something spicy. Mongolian Beef is not what expected at all. Not recommend. The two pictures are Szechuan chicken and Mongolian Beef which looks like very alike, dark and stick sauce. Very disappointed experience. On the menu, it says monday to friday price and weekend and public holiday price, still surcharge will be applied upon weekend price. THREE dishes(Szechuan chicken, dumplings soup and Mongolian beef) cost nearly $70, considering the quality of the dish, do not recommend at all.
