Very highly recommended We are from Sydney and it’s our first time in Hobart. This noodle is really good. I’ve been to many noodle shops in different areas of Sydney( in Haymarket, Burwood, Eastwood , etc), and this noodle shop Hobart is one of the best. The taste and noodle quality is really good. The service is fast. The place is clean. My daughter who is really very picky with food completely finished her bowl of beef noodle. The only drawback is that the place probably needs a bigger space to cater to more people - it has a lot of customers when we went. However wait was not that long and the service very prompt. We were served few minutes after we sit. .
"A wonderful surprise in Hobart!" First time in Hobart, and I stumbled upon this little shop while wandering around the city centre. Never expected to find such authentic Lanzhou noodles here – the "erxi" (medium-thin) noodles are perfectly chewy, the beef bone broth is rich and hearty, and the braised beef is super tender. The chili oil is incredibly fragrant, the owner is so friendly, and the staff are great too – they even explained the different noodle types listed on the wall. The shop is small but cozy, and definitely worth going out of your way to visit!
There is not many halal restaurants in hobart so this made me so happy. They brought the food out fast. I started to tear up when i had the first bite because its sooooo good. Not even exaggerating, its sooo good. The noodles are hand made and the meat was soft and yummy. Im just sad i didn't come here sooner.
So, when you walk in, you order up front first. You can pick whichever noodles you’re feeling, and over on the other side, there’s a bunch of cold sides to choose from. Once you’ve ordered, just grab a seat wherever you like. I went for the beef noodle, which was $18.80 – pretty decent size! The noodles were nice and springy, and the beef was juicy and tender. If you’re into soupy noodles, this one’s definitely a winner. This place has a solid 5.0 rating, so I had pretty high hopes. Honestly, it didn’t totally blow me away, but the food was tasty and definitely worth a try if you’re nearby.
Some of the best hand pulled noodles I’ve ever had! It was fun to watch the noodles being pulled fresh at the front of the shop. Portions are huge, with generous noodles, protein, and a super flavorful broth that really hits the spot. Both the classic beef and lamb rib bowls were rich and hearty, and I especially loved the chewy texture of the prism noodles. Great value for the quality.
