Dissappointed in the service today. We were seated and placed our order not long after. Another couple came and sat next to us. We waited for half an hour, I had to go to the front desk to ask for water and the waitress gave me attitude as if I interrupted what she was doing. It took half an hour for my friends Juice to come to the table. We waited another 20 minutes and my coffee and food had not come out despite the couple who came AFTER us having already gotten their coffee and food. We ended up asking where our coffee and food was, only to be told it had been crossed off their service list. We ended up just leaving. I used to love this cafe but I will not be coming back.

Visited this cafe for breakfast this morning and had a lovely experience overall. There was an issue with the ordering system which meant our order was missed, and we ended up waiting for over half an hour. Once we brought it to the staff’s attention, they were incredibly professional and kind—apologizing sincerely, offering us a discount, and providing complimentary drinks. The food and matcha were absolutely delicious, and the excellent customer service really stood out. I’ll definitely be returning!

All day breakfast place in downtown Cairns. Open from 6am to 2pm 7 days a week. I'm not getting up for a 6am breakfast but I went with 2 friends who were keen for breakfast at a normal lunchtime. The food was good as was the portion size. "All good" from that point of view. I didn't like the service. There were too many people serving (three) and they all kept on checking if we wanted to order or if we had any questions. Overkill. One server assigned to a table and asking the questions would have been good but all 3 were doing the same thing. The inside of the restaurant is nicely presented and invokes the name of the cafe -- Candy's. They have a few tables for outside al fresco dining, too if that's your thing.

Great little cafe in the heart of the city!! The food was pretty good and the portion sizes were great too, was quite difficult to finish the eggs Benedict! A few gluten free options and super friendly staff. I absolutely enjoyed my experience here and cannot wait to share it with my friends and family.

Loved this cafe in the morning! The offer on the menu and it all sounds so tasty! The juice is one to try.. you won’t be disappointed! The service is also top-notch, the two ladies were super friendly as we didn't even need to wait long for the food, what I had was soooo tasty! Highly recommend this for you Cairns breakfast...
