Bao Place is ALWAYS fantastic, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and everyone who works there is lovely. Definitely book a table whether you’re having a casual catch-up dinner or booking for a small crowd, I’ve had my Dad’s 60th birthday there, dates and family friend dinners. Love it.

Came across the Bao Place while I was in the area and loved the look of it, so decided to dine in. The food was delicious, and the sashimi very fresh! The mocktails were also very delicious, and refreshing. Will definitely be returning!

Loved this aesthetic little bun bar! We tried a bunch of their buns and honestly, they were all amazing. The crispy soft-shell crab and Peking duck were our top picks. The buns were super soft, the meat cooked perfectly, and everything was beautifully presented. The portions were generous as well. And to top it off, the owner was incredibly friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations. Such a lovely experience!

Place is super accessible with heaps of parking to the side of the block. Cozy with bar seatings, menu needs to be updated tho, they have an amazing deal of 3 bao for 19$. Bun is super soft and moist, fillings were AMAZING! so creative and yum. Would recommend honey duck, it’s the best one imo.

You know when the edamame is outstanding that the rest to follow will knock your socks off! The char topped with a secret sauce and spice meant the edamame was demolished at unmeasurable speed. The chicken prawn pot stickers were vibrant and layered in delicious flavours - the sauce particularly decadent! Bao Place really shone where its name suggests – we opted for six different types of baos and each one highlighted the incredible versatility and flavoursome ability of bao. The soft shell crab and pulled lamb were our favs! Kudos to the staff for great friendly service also. We can’t wait to come back.
